- Content you create or upload, including post images, captions, tags, preview source images, selected earring images, and saved preview results.
- Activity information related to your use of the app, including likes, favorites, messaging activity, and interactions with content.
- Purchase and balance-related information needed to support in-app wallet and preview access features.
- Device, app, and diagnostic information that helps us operate the app, maintain security, and improve performance.
How We Use Information
We use information to operate and improve Lunex, including to provide core features, personalize the experience, and support account-related functions.
- To create and manage your account and profile.
- To display, organize, and share the content you choose to publish.
- To create preview results from the selected photo and earring image you provide for that request.
- To support favorites, messaging, moderation, and safety workflows.
- To process wallet-related actions and maintain feature access where applicable.
- To measure product performance, troubleshoot issues, and improve the app.
Photos, Camera, and Preview Processing
Lunex may request access to your camera and photo library so you can select or capture images for your profile, posts, and earring preview results. If you choose to save preview results, the app may also request permission to add images to your photo library.
Before creating an earring preview, Lunex asks for your consent before sending your selected photo for image processing. The information involved in this feature may include your selected photo, visible facial features, pose, clothing, background, and the selected earring image used for the preview.
This preview data is used only to generate the preview you request. Lunex does not use this data for face recognition, identity verification, or biometric profiling.
Third-Party Preview Provider
Lunex uses Alibaba Cloud DashScope (Model Studio) to process the selected photo and earring image required to generate earring previews. When you use this feature, the relevant preview inputs are processed by that provider for the purpose of returning the requested result.
Messages and User Content
If you use messaging or post content in Lunex, that information may be processed so the app can deliver conversations, display content, support moderation, and maintain the expected user experience. Please avoid sharing sensitive personal information through public posts or messages unless you are comfortable doing so.
Sharing of Information
We may share information with service providers and partners that help us operate the app, support infrastructure, process essential app functions, analyze performance, or comply with legal obligations. We may also disclose information where necessary to protect users, investigate misuse, enforce our terms, or comply with applicable law.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide Lunex, maintain account functions, support transactions and safety processes, resolve disputes, and meet legal or operational requirements.
For the earring preview feature, provider task data and returned image links may remain available for up to 24 hours. Preview files generated for in-app viewing may also be cleared when you leave the preview screen unless you choose to save the image.
Your Choices
You may update profile information, manage content you post, save or remove favorites, and review certain permission settings through your device or app settings. You can also contact us regarding privacy-related questions or requests.
If enabled, Lunex may remember your earring preview consent choice so you do not have to confirm the same notice each time you create a preview. You can change this preference from the app's settings.
Children's Privacy
Lunex is not intended for children who are below the minimum age required under applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable requirements.
